Job Vacancy - Casual/Relief Driver

The Role:
We are looking an exceptional driver with a full driving licence and previous driving experience to join our team as a relief delivery driver.  Travelling throughout GB, you would be responsible for the safe delivery and handover of our wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) to customers.  



Responsibilities:
  • Be available as and when required to complete deliveries of new wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) direct to the customer,
  • Ensure the vehicle they are delivering has been cleaned and is ready for handover to the customer,
  • Complete a comprehensive and efficient handover with the customer, ensuring they are happy with all aspects of the conversion in their new vehicle,
  • Demonstrate correct use of all vehicle adaptations including ramp, wheelchair restraints, reels, winches etc...,
  • Complete fully all required Motability handover documentation with the customer,
  • Complete a full vehicle condition description and photograph the customers Motability return vehicle if applicable, 
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is forwarded via email at earliest convenience to Motability Specialist to allow online handover to be completed,
  • Advise Pre/Post Sales Admin of any changes to the agreed handover time in a timely manner prior to delivery to ensure a smooth handover of customers new vehicle.



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Full Driving Licence,
  • Previous driving experience advantageous,
  • Reliable,
  • Prepared to work flexible hours at short notice,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills,
  • Committed to delivering a high-quality service,
  • Professional at all times providing exceptional customer service.
