We took delivery of our second Motability vehicle, our first, the dealership clearly just saw us as another sale, the vehicle was totally inappropriate for my needs & took 18 months of my freedom away rather than enhancing my life.
Then we found out about McElmeel & so the transformation to my liberty began. From the initial Demo last year to the delivery, everything was tailored to meet my needs.
We were given a delivery timescale & progress updates were made by phone every 6 weeks with every communication professional but friendly, making me feel very special, so a big thank you to Roisin for the efficient administration of our order.

Anton updated us regularly with how we were doing, and although there was a slight delay we have now received our Tourneo. This vehicle has been adapted expertly, with little detail to just make our life so much easier. We're so pleased with McElmeel, such a friendly knowledgeable team and we will be calling on them again in 5 years time!
Things insignificant to everyone else but that mean the world to me. Going to the park, going shopping, going to the zoo, a trip to IKEA now my son has learned Swedish, a kids farm, kids play areas etc.

Of all the times to order a new vehicle we did it in the middle of a pandemic but the help and advice we received was fantastic!
Terry and Eddie gave us really friendly thorough ‘covid safe’ demonstrations. They also offered us some good advice based on their comprehensive knowledge of the vehicles and the needs of our family.
Mary, you were amazing keeping us informed throughout the whole process and being such a lovely positive and friendly voice to hear at a time when I needed it most.
When Ben delivered the vehicle he was extremely polite and informative about how the vehicle worked and answered many of our daft questions!

We've just had our new WAV vehicle delivered this week for my daughter Abby, unfortunately I don't have a Facebook account to be able to leave a review but I couldn't go without thanking McElmeels for all your help.
The initial demo with Nadine was so hassle free to organise, she was so friendly and informative as and we knew straight away it was the right vehicle for us. The ordering process again was very straight forward and the staff at McElmeels were frequently in touch up until delivery day. Our van was delivered to us by Aaron, what a friendly guy! He talked me through every inch of the van and made sure I was happy with everything before he left.
I really couldn't recommend McElmeels enough. This vehicle will make a massive difference to what we can do together as a family....thank you!

we decided to look around for our daughter’s next WAV 
. With 3 times the spec for 1/3rd of the down payment 
, the Ford Family Custom from McElmeel was a no brainier: a dropped floor, meaning a really easy rear ramp with no need for winching; perfect wheelchair in the middle of 2 back seats for Seren to sit between her sisters and stop any bickering 
; loads of space for Seren’s extra specialist chairs and stuff; a double front passenger seat so no extra cost for extra passenger; privacy glass; heated everything; electric wing mirrors; plenty of usb points so no ‘I neeeeed to charge my phone’ fights; cup and bottle holders galore... And the outstanding customer service made the whole process of ordering really easy - from Eddie’s initial ‘ slot you in’ demo, to the full demo and paperwork sorting and final delivery from Aaron, everything was well managed, efficient and friendly. Any worries I had about ordering from a company based in N Ireland were soon dispelled. What a lovely team

The handover was straight forward and Benjamin who delivered it was very efficient and thorough. He explained every detail from servicing to the rear ramp and on to the security straps to make sure we all knew how to make Simons chair safe.
We were kept informed through the whole process by Mary even telling us the time that the car would be delivered. The car arrived on time as planned and Mary even phoned us this afternoon to check that the hand over went ok.
We would highly recommend McElmeel to any one who is need of a Motability vehicle.

Even though we were in a lockdown, nothing was too much hassle, test drive the van as long as you want they said, make sure it's the one for your needs. The Transit Connect was ideal except my wife got a sore neck trying to see out, so we went for the bigger Transit Custom Family as this allowed my wife the best all round vision, the vehicle is more like a large car to drive than any van that I ever drove!
We took delivery of the van from a lovely gentleman called Malachy, he cleaned all of the surfaces before coming to our door, again nothing was too much hassle, he took his time explaining everything we needed to know about the vehicle, then after a few days, we received a courtesy call to make sure everything was ok and if we needed any further assistance just ask.
McElmeel has renewed our confidence in customer service, something other companies could learn from!
From start to finish communication have been brilliant. Being the first time ordering a wav we were unsure how the process worked, but you made it very easy. Would like to say thank you to Aaron who delivered the WAV. Nothing was to much to ask. The build quality of the WAV is lovely. Thanks again.

It took a time to adjust to the wheelchair fixtures but I am getting quicker . Peter feels safe travelling and the drive is so much better than the Caddy.
