The Role:

Based in NI with weekly travel to the UK, you will work four and a half days per week: Monday and a half day Friday from our Armagh site, spending Tuesday to Thursday in the UK.

The role of a UK WAV Sales Manager is to lead from the front in terms of WAV demonstrations and the management of our growing team of UK demonstrators.  Whilst on site you will work with fellow Sales and Administration Managers to achieve the continually improving standards we set ourselves, to ensure our customers receive an excellent customer experience every time.  You will play your part in marketing, training, management and process development.

When on the road you will carry out 2 to 3 demonstrations each day across the length and breadth of the UK and take the lead on project development.  Your calls, route and accommodation will be arranged and qualified by our administration team leaving your free to concentrate on  your customers and colleagues.

This is an exciting new role that will suit a proactive Sales Manager who is used to balancing management from the office with weekly time on the road.  The right person will find this is a position that will challenge and reward in equal amounts and offers career progression opportunity within a growing market leading company.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop full working product knowledge of all possible vehicles, conversions and adaptations provided by McElmeel Mobility,
  • Work with various departments to ensure our customers receive excellent customer experience,
  • Align with our continual improvement policy to adhere to and improve all internal processes,
  • Work with Pre/Post WAV admin to keep an efficient diary that will allow for up to 6 appointments per week where required and distance permits, carrying out the demonstration in line with the WAV demonstration processes and complete your paperwork in line with agreed procedures,
  • Maintain a clean pipeline,
  • Attend associated events including Motability events, information seminars, networking events and marketing opportunities including, where required, weekends,
  • Carry out other reasonable duties requested by management,
  • Support, manage and develop the existing team of WAV demonstrators and grow the team. 


The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years relevant demonstrable experience in a similar (field-based, customer facing, management type) role although full training will be given.  You must be self motivated, with a great work ethic and positive can-do attitude, strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
