The Role:
We are currently seeking a Mechanic/Fitter to join our team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of the company hire fleet, conducting repairs on customer vehicles and fitting adaptations for disabled drivers and passengers.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of the Company vehicles, 
  • Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing, 
  • Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability,
  • Be responsible for fitting vehicle adaptations,  
  • Complete any call out repairs at the request of the Production Manager,    
  • Liaise with customers who arrive onsite, ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all relevant paperwork including job cards.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the Adaptations & Servicing team.


The Ideal Candidate
  • Full driving licence,
  • Mechanical fitting experience,
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative,
  • Willingness to learn,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Excellent time management.
