Based three miles outside the City of Armagh, we supply converted and adapted vehicles across Ireland and the UK. The Role:

The Junior Accounts Clerk will work closely with and provide financial, clerical and ad-hoc support to our Accounts Team and assist with all aspects of company accounting in our busy Accounts Department.  Full training will be provided.


Responsibilities:

  • Support accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliations
  • Banking
  • Posting to the Sales ledger including sales invoices and credit notes
  •  Processing customer payments
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Company Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Petty cash Processing and Reconciliation
  • Any ad-hoc duties as required

 


The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate could have accounts administration experience or experience in working in a busy office environment, but not essential as full training will be given.  You will be given an opportunity to learn all areas of the Junior Accounts Clerk role and work closely with other members of the accounts team.  You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, communication and problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail.  You must be proactive and driven to meet deadlines.

         Qualifications:
  • Essential - At least GCSE level including grade C Maths and English or above
  • Desirable: Some Further Education

    Essential Qualities:
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent timekeeping skills

      Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in Xero would be beneficial but not essential.
      
      Remuneration Package:

Salary will be competitive depending on experience.
