Based three miles outside the City of Armagh, we supply converted and adapted vehicles across Ireland and the UK. The Role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for Quality control checks on vehicles adapted for wheelchair access and driver adaptations, Full training will be provided. The person must have good attention to detail whilst ensuring a “right first time” approach.

 

Responsibilities:

·         - Work with the Production Planning Team to ensure you have a quarterly understanding of workload.

·         - Be responsible for checking incoming vehicles to ensure they meet the required standard.

·         - Contribute to the performance of the Production Team.

·         - Be responsible for ensuring vehicle has made its way to final stage of process.

·         - Examine the product to ensure the production process has been followed and that the finished vehicle conforms to the Mc Elmeel Quality Standard.

·         - Ensure each product complies with legal and quality standards/type approvals.

·         - Ensure measuring equipment is functioning properly, calibrated where required and any issues are reported to management.

·         - Maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing.

The Ideal Candidate:

·         - Demonstrable experience in a similar role.

·         - 3+ years relevant experience.

·         - Has the skills to find solutions in challenging situations.

·         - A great work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.

·         - Full driving licence

·         - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         - Highly motivated and ambitious

·         - Excellent time keeping.

·         - Pride in quality workmanship.

·         - Initiative to work alone as well as successfully within a team.

·         - Effective written and oral communication skills.

·         - Willingness to embrace change.

·         - Ability to follow instructions and execute effectively.


Remuneration Package:
Salary will be competitive depending on experience.
