Job Vacancy - UK WAV Demonstrator

The Role:

The UK WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) Demonstrator will be required to travel throughout the UK to demonstrate wheelchair accessible vehicles.  Working 4.5 days per week with an early finish on Friday, your calls, route and accommodation will be arranged and qualified by our administration team leaving you free to concentrate on your customers.  This role offers career progression into a management role.



Responsibilities:

  • Work with Pre/Post WAV Admin to keep an efficient diary that will allow for up to 10 appointments per week where required and distance permits,
  • Work with Pre/Post WAV Admin to ensure that you have everything on hand for your demonstration to give your customer the best possible experience,
  • Take full responsibility for WAV being of the required standard before you leave site,
  • Have full working product knowledge of all possible vehicles, conversions and adaptations provided by McElmeel Mobility,
  • Carry out demonstrations in line with all WAV demonstration procedures and complete your paperwork in line with agreed procedures,
  • Maintain a clean pipeline,
  • Attend associated events including Motability events, information seminars, networking events and marketing opportunities,
  • Carry out other reasonable duties requested by management.



The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years relevant demonstrable experience in a similar (field-based customer facing) role, although full training will be given.  You must be self-motivated, IT literate, with a great work ethic, with a positive can-do attitude, strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
