Job Vacancy - Assistant Store Person

Based three miles outside the City of Armagh, we supply converted and adapted vehicles across Ireland and the UK. The Role:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Assistant Store Person to join our team. 

The Assistant Store Person will be responsible for assisting with managing all inventory control related activities.

Full training will be provided.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximises stock system and paperwork accuracy,
  • The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing, goods inwards and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly,
  • Checking in/out vehicles arriving on site,
  • Preparation of kits for both internal use and nationwide export,
  • Load/Unloading of deliveries on site,
  • Use of software to organise stock control,
  • Maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing,
  • The job role may include other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time.

 

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role,
  • Experience in using Sage or Xero stock or equivalent business management software (advantageous)
  • Have the skills to find solutions in challenging situations,
  • A great work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude,
  • Full driving licence,
  • Competent at driving a forklift.
