The Role:

The UK & NI WAV Demonstrator will carry out WAV demonstrations onsite or out on the road through the UK and Northern Ireland, to sell new and used wheelchair accessible vehicles.


Responsibilities:
·        Be accountable for H&S requirements in your work area, ensuring you work in a safe work environment through maintaining H&S procedure in a safe manner,
·        Be responsible for the correct use of personal protective equipment as per the company PPE policy,
·        When working in NI, you will generally work Monday - Thursday 9.00am-5.30pm, Friday 9.00am-4.30pm.  However to meet this role it is expected that there will be driving before and after these times as with people who commute to their job,
·        When working in the UK, you will generally leave NI early Monday morning and leave UK Thursday evening travelling across the UK and you will be required to work beyond office hours if the business requires, appreciating the variations of needs that may exist within the client base,
·        You will be required to work Friday morning with administration and managers to process your paperwork and ensure you are prepared for the week ahead,
·        Work with Pre/Post WAV Admin to keep an efficient diary that will allow for 2 or 3 demonstrations daily where required and distance permits,        
·        Work with Pre/Post WAV Admin to ensure you have everything at your disposal to close a demonstration on the first attempt including paperwork and copies of brochures,
·        Take full responsibility for WAV being of required standard before you leave site,
·        Have full working product knowledge of all possible vehicles, conversions and adaptations provided by McElmeel Mobility,
·        Carry out the demonstration in line with the WAV demonstration procedures,
·        Take responsibility for clarifying all specification details before passing to Motability Admin for order confirmation,
·        Maintain a clean pipeline
·        Commit to a culture of continual training and improvement,
·        Attend associated events planned for your region, including information seminars, networking events and marketing opportunities,
·        Be able to work beyond office hours if the business requires, appreciating communication or expectation variations that may exist with in the client base.


The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be self motivated with an aptitude for sales and have experience of working on the road.  You will need be a team player with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.


Essential Qualities:
·      3+years relevant customer facing experience in a similar role,
·      Full driving licence,
·      Excellent communication skills,
·      Highly organised, 
·      Confident, collaborative and possess a "can-do" approach,
·      Excellent time management,
·      Reliable and prepared to work flexible hours,
·      Offer excellent customer service
