Job Vacancy - UK/NI WAV Sales and Marketing Person

McElmeel Mobility Services are a Market Leader in adaptation, conversion and supply of vehicles for disabled drivers and passengers. Based three miles outside the City of Armagh, we supply converted and adapted vehicles across Ireland and the UK.  Established in 1950 and the oldest converter in our industry, McElmeel Mobility is a third generation Family run business, built upon our core values of innovation and excellent customer service.


The Role:

The UK/NI WAV Sales and Marketing Person will carry out WAV demonstrations on site and through out Northern Ireland and mainland UK.  Through social media and digital marketing you will also support with the continued marketing of  the WAVs.


Responsibilities:


·        Through the development of the role, time will be split between the UK and Northern Ireland carrying out WAV demonstrations in line with the WAV demonstration procedures,
·        Develop a full working product knowledge of all possible vehicles, conversions and adaptations provided by McElmeel Mobility Services,
·        Liaise with Pre/Post WAV Admin to keep an efficient diary that will allow for 2 or 3 demonstrations daily where required and distance permits,
·        Liaise with Pre/Post WAV Admin to ensure you have everything at your disposal to complete a full demonstration,
·        Take full responsibility for WAV being of the required standard before you leave site for demonstrations,
·        Ensure grant support information is provided to Motability Admin in line with agreed procedures,
·        Responsible for clarifying all WAV specification details before passing to Motability Admin for order confirmation,    
·        Maintain a clean pipeline,
·        Commit to a culture of continual training and improvement,
·        Support the creation of social media content including written and video content across our digital media platform,
·        Attend associated events planned for your region including information seminars, networking events and marketing opportunities,
·        Carry out any other duties within the service (or associated) department requested by Management or Line Manager.



The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should be self motivated with an aptitude for sales and have experience of working on the road.  You will need be a team player with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.  


Qualifications:


·      Essential:  Previous experience of social media and digital marketing 
·      Desirable: 3+ years customer facing experience in a similar role

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·      Working understanding of digital media.
