It was a special day in Ballymena as Darcie-Leigh’s mum took delivery of their brand new Citroën SpaceTourer Cosmo Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, delivered by our driver Fergal.
The Citroën SpaceTourer Cosmo has been designed with accessibility at its heart, making everyday journeys more straightforward while providing a comfortable environment for the whole family. At the centre of the WAV conversion is the inclusive wheelchair position, allowing the wheelchair passenger to travel securely within the vehicle rather than being separated from the rest of the passengers.
Access is made simple with the low-angle bi-fold ramp, featuring marine grade grip to provide excellent traction when entering or exiting the vehicle. The low ramp angle helps make wheelchair access smoother, while the bi-fold design keeps the loading area practical and easy to use.
Inside, the SpaceTourer Cosmo benefits from a fully carpeted floor, creating a smart and comfortable finish throughout the passenger area. The spacious interior provides plenty of room for the wheelchair passenger while retaining the comfort expected from a premium family vehicle.
