The Ford Custom Freestyle from McElmeel Mobility Services is the perfect family car for Wheelchair Users, offering flexibility of numbers, a great wheelchair space and original seating.

Available privately or through the Motability scheme, this wedged floor conversion from McElmeel’s gives you all the space afforded by a larger vehicle yet the comfort and drivability of a car.

The Tourneo Custom Freestyle is a highly specced car and comes with Bluetooth and front rear park assist as standard, with options such as rear climate control, digital radio and a rear reversing camera.

Seating Options include a driver and single or double front passenger seats plus from 2 to 4 rear seats.   Leaving you with a generous wheelchair space behind the driver’s seat.This WAV gives customers a great deal of flexibility. If you need to maximise your seats you can utilise the rear wheelchair position giving you 6 persons including wheelchair. Alternatively you can remove two seats to give you a more forward wheelchair space. The Ford Freestyle has a full floor length of 240 cm, with a 150 cm flat surface available. The width of the front wheelchair space is 100 cm leaving plenty of room for luggage and shopping, beside and behind the wheelchair.

The internal head height is 137 cm.
