Wheelchair Accessible Taxis are available in various forms. We can convert brand new and second hand vehicles from scratch or we can modify existing wheelchair accessible vehicles to better suit your needs and meet legislation. Our conversions are carried out to the highest standards, using purpose made ramps, anchor systems and head height mouldings to ensure your vehicle looks and feels the way you need it.

We have sold this model as a brand new vehicle and as a conversion on second hand vehicles, across the UK and Ireland, working with local councils to ensure you will met local licencing requirements.
McElmeel Mobility Services also have Full European Type Approval on our conversion of the 5 passenger wheelchair accessible Ford Connect. The Connect is available as a rear access with 3 seated passengers and 1 wheelchair passenger.
Second hand vehicles and conversions on second hand vehicles are also available, so whatever you need and budget, we will do our very best to provide you with the right option.
If your vehicle no longer meets the most up to date legislation, we can supply and fit a range of parts and services including side steps, running boards, upper anchorage points and engineers reports.
