I feel i have to post our experience with Mc Elmeel Mobility Services Ltd.
I have now had my Ford Custom Family going on three and a half years. When my health issues and mobility deteriorated, it became essential to get a vehicle that could take my power chair and me ( the chair weighs approx 95kgs. I am 1.98 metres in height, so when I am in my chair and loading via a ramp, in most vehicles I would end up decapitating myself. I had electric wheels fitted, so making it easy for my wife and full time carer( who also has health issues) to tie down the chair. The service from Mc Elmeels and their staff from start to finish has been exemplary throughout. They supported us in helping us choose and select the correct vehicle and configuration for our needs. All servicing and safety checks have been undertaken with empathy,kindness and support , reducing my stress levels and ongoing symptoms. The vehicle has not missed a beat. I can highly recommend this highly professional family business, if you are looking for a suitable wheel chair accessible vehicle (WAV).
