McElmeel Mobility Services Staff take part in Mourne Seven Summits for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland

This challenge of the Cancer Focus Mourne Seven Summits to raise money for local cancer research we’re funding at Queen’s University Belfast. This tough challenge will involve climbing to the summit of all seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains, Co.Down that are 700m or more above sea level.

Following a fixed route walkers will take on the following mountains:
  • Slieve Donard 850m
  • Slieve Commedagh 765m
  • Slieve Bernagh 727m
  • Slieve Meelmore 704m
  • Slieve Meelberg 708m
  • Slieve Binnian 747m
  • Slieve Lamagan 704m

Each of the Seven Summits will be visited in the order listed above. Participants will need a good level of fitness and experience walking in mountainous terrain.
