As part of your contract with Motability, McElmeel Mobility Services are classed as your “Motability Managing Dealer”. This means we are here to support you throughout the duration of your Motability contract.
If you have any questions around Servicing, Maintenance or Repair regarding your conversion or adaptation, this can be discussed directly with our specialists in our Aftersales Team on 02837 525 333. Our offices are open 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 to 16:30 Friday.
What to do if you have a breakdown or require an unplanned repair.
If you experience a breakdown or need an unplanned repair during office hours, your first option is to phone our specialists directly. We will work with you to gain a thorough understanding of the issue and work to minimise the consequence of the issue. Alternatively, you contact RAC direct. To give you the best experience throughout your lease, Motability advises you to download the myRAC app. Details of what to do in case of a breakdown and how to download the App is found here.
What to do if you have a breakdown or unplanned repair out of hours.
If you have the misfortune to need support out of hours, Motability introduced a new RAC triage system from the 1st July. You can either log on to the App or contact RAC on the number provided. McElmeel Mobility to not monitor incoming calls, emails or social media enquiries out of hours. If your issue can wait until the next opening time, please contact us then. It will help us diagnose your issue quicker if you have a video of what requires attention.
